Grey represents the fullest expression of a "single block," from vines that pay homage to their place of origin. The grapes for Grey single block come from vines rigorously selected for each wine, made possible by a constant process of studying our vineyards to obtain, in each of the Grey varieties, the maximum expression of its terroir.

Tasting notes

This wine is a deep cherry red with violet hues. The nose reveals aromas of black fruits such as blackberries, blueberries, and black cherries, mingled with notes of pepper and spices, along with damp earth and even some mineral notes, such as graphite. On the palate, it is vibrant, fresh, and very taut. It has a smooth entry, with velvety, firm tannins and a fresh acidity that makes it long and persistent.

Cask

100% of this wine was aged for 18 months in extra-fine grain French oak barrels, 34% of which were new, and 66% were second and third year used. The wine then remained in the bottle for 8 months. It was racked 3 times.

Pairing

It is recommended to drink it at a temperature between 16-18°C. It pairs well with game meats such as venison and wild boar, as well as pork and lamb.
