The second wine from this admirable Bordeaux winery is elegant, voluptuous, powerful, and highly aromatic. A fine introduction to the Cos d'Estournel style, it can age well for a good ten years after bottling.
Winemaking: Plot by plot, gravity-fed through 72 temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks ranging from 19 to 155 hl. All handling is done without pumping, using gravity and four 100 hl lift tanks.

Powerful with tannins that give it a slightly rough texture, good body, and a dry taste. Excellent fruit-oak balance. Long, velvety finish.
