PACK CUTTY SARK 700 ML + 2 GLASSES
Founded in 1923 by Berry Bros & Rudd, Cutty Sark is today one of the best-known brands among Scotch blends. The name of this bottle is inspired by the famous Cutty Sark ship, which appears on the label. Built in 1869, it can still be seen in London's Greenwich district. This is a light whisky, and that's evident from the nose. However, it's an unusual nose. We can find subtle smoky notes (likely from Bunnahabhain), apples, and a touch of vanilla.
We can also detect sweet aromas, like honey, accompanied by floral and herbaceous notes, typical of young whiskies. Extremely light in body and color. The smoky flavor that the nose seemed to anticipate is less pronounced, and primarily floral and herbaceous notes, coming directly from the distillate, are present.
There are also quite sweet flavors, most likely due to the multiple grains in the whisky. We can barely detect the wood.
The finish is short, with herbaceous notes appearing. It is true, however, that these soon disappear, giving way to a relatively pleasant sweetness.
