This Cabernet Franc has all the characteristics of the varietal: good, firm, and taut tannins, aromas of tobacco and herbs, and a pleasant, enveloping acidity. It comes from a vineyard block next to the Tinguiririca River, on clay soils that are also stony, allowing water to flow through and preventing the wine from becoming overly vegetal.

Tasting notes

A youthful nose with abundant tobacco leaves and hints ranging from steel to ripe blackcurrant. The palate is medium to full-bodied, marked by compact yet polished tannins. A very well-balanced, long, and layered Cabernet Franc.
