At the highest point of our La Roblería vineyard, in the Apalta Valley, the collaboration between John Duval and Felipe Tosso has given rise to a unique blend of Carmenere and Syrah. Two visions, one spirit, in a process that brings out the best in each element.

Tasting notes

Deep red in color with violet hues. The nose offers aromas of black fruits such as blackberries and berries, mingled with black pepper, damp earth, hints of native forest, a touch of graphite, and subtle spices. It is a wine with a firm structure on the palate, silky tannins, and flavors of black fruit and spices. Its medium-high acidity provides balance and a persistent finish.

Cask

Aged for 22 months in 300-liter French oak barrels, 40% of which are new and the rest second and third use. It is then bottle-aged for a minimum of 14 months.

Pairing

It's a great accompaniment to spicy cuisines like Indian, Thai, Mexican, Spanish, and other more complex dishes. It pairs well with semi-aged cheeses and strongly flavored meats such as wild boar and venison.
