Tarapacá Gran Reserva Carmenère expresses the essence of the El Rosario estate's terroir and embodies the entire tradition of Viña Tarapacá. Tasting notes

Ruby red, with a high aromatic concentration, where spicy and herbal notes like black pepper and dill, typical of Carmenère from the Maipo Valley, stand out, lending a refreshing character to the nose. Suggestive hints of vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and coconut, imparted by barrel aging, are also present. Finally, reflecting the 2019 vintage, aromas of ripe black fruit such as plum and blackberry emerge. Elegant, subtle, and long. Its great juiciness gives this wine life. Flavors of blackberry, chocolate, pepper, and bay leaf add complexity to the palate. It has soft, firm tannins, a medium body, and excellent persistence on the palate.

Cask

80% of the wine remained for 12 months in French and American barrels (20% new and 80% used) and the other 20% of the wine was kept in stainless steel tanks to preserve the primary fruit component in the blend.
