Errázuriz Wine Villa Don Maximiano

This wine is a blend from the Aconcagua Valley. It is aged for 22 months in French oak barrels (45% new; 30% second and third use) and 25% in Stockinger foudres.

Composition: 28% Syrah, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec, 17% Cabernet Franc and 10% Mourvedre

Tasting Notes: The 2017 vintage of Villa Don Maximiano boasts a beautiful, bright ruby ​​red color with violet highlights. On the nose, the wine is highly aromatic, with floral notes, fresh blueberries, and a subtle hint of currant leaves. On the palate, it is very fruity and refreshing, revealing tangy cherries and fresh blueberries, while also standing out for its tension and freshness. The fine, chalky tannins make it very appealing and versatile.
