This 1865 Selected Collection is the result of a collaboration between our winemaker and the master distiller of Pisco Mistral. Aged in French oak for 12 months and then for another 6 months in barrels that traveled from the Pisco Mistral distillery to our 1865 cellars at Viña San Pedro in Molina. Thanks to experimentation and teamwork, 1865 found in the Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maipo Valley the perfect complement to the intense flavor imparted by the premium Pisco Mistral barrels. The result is an innovative double-barrel aged wine that celebrates the best of Chilean viticulture, creating an exquisite and distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting notes

Aromas of red fruits like raspberry and cherry stand out, along with blue berries such as blueberry. It also features spicy notes imparted by its time in oak barrels, which add complexity to this wine.
Fresh and with marked acidity, with a medium body, leading to a smooth and elegant finish."

Cask

Malolactic fermentation and aging took place in French oak barrels for 12 months, 50% of which were new and the remaining 50% second-use. Once the blend was made, it underwent a second aging of 6 months in Pisco Mistral barrels.
