Tasting Notes

Aroma: A slightly spicy and dry sensation on the nose overall. Caramelized apples. Hints of honeycomb balanced by lingering youthful flavors: linseed oil and fragrant tea. It becomes fruitier: ripe autumn fruits combined with a crispness of red berries. Notes of malt and cereals. A touch of golden syrup sweetness. Reassuringly well-balanced. Upon adding water, a waxier note initially emerges, with hints of sweet chestnut and angelica glacé, followed by a hint of smoke or charred wood.

Appearance: Deep amber or burnt orange.

Palate: Without water, the flavor is sweet at first, then dries out at the finish. Warm, light, and smooth; tending towards delicate. Base notes of malt and oats. Fresh fruit salad, with spicy and floral top notes. With added water, there is a pleasant mouthfeel. Some sweetness, although the overall effect remains balanced and dry.
