Planted in the Inca Riverbed, our Petit Verdot vineyards thrive in an environment surrounded by large stones and soils with low water retention capacity. These poor, stony soil conditions help to soften the powerful and robust tannins characteristic of this variety. It is Chaski's delicate winemaking, along with 16 months of aging in French oak barrels, that softens this 100% Petit Verdot wine and brings it to a delicate balance between intensity and silkiness. Complemented by aromas of red fruit, spices, floral notes, and a touch of graphite, these aromas add complexity, resulting in an elegant and lingering finish.
