Tasting notes

The aromas are dominated by red and black fruits, such as cherries, ripe plums, and blueberries. Notes of licorice are also present, complemented by spicy hints, and a touch of chocolate and mocha. Fresh, with a persistent and marked acidity. Medium-bodied.

Cask

Malolactic fermentation and aging took place in 300-liter French oak barrels for 12 months.

Pairing

Ideal to accompany homemade stews and pasta with tomato-based sauces.
