Tasting notes

A deep, dark red wine. Aromas of toasted cherry, blackcurrant, cedar, blackberry, and subtle hints of black pepper. Firm and with a deep concentration of flavors. A delicate, almost silky texture frames soft tannins, which truly emerge at the beginning of its long finish.

Cask

12 months in French oak barrels and foudres.

Pairing

Oven-grilled lamb, pork or beef with pepper sauce and spicy mashed potatoes; spiced sausages accompanied by olive baguette and Dijon mustard.
