Seeking a wine with a classic profile through a New World blend, Liguai was created. In this blend, the Syrah variety, harvested at its peak ripeness, forms the backbone, contributing structure, richness, and aromas of dark fruit. Next, the full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, from our richest clay soils, adds power and spicy notes. Finally, the balanced Carmenere lends its distinctive silkiness and delicacy to the mix. Sixteen months of aging in new and second-use French oak barrels provides the finishing touch, lending complexity, volume, and structure. The result is a wine of great character, with a harmonious combination of flavors and aromas.
