Color: very intense purple-red.
Aroma: pronounced aromas of sour cherries, red cherries and black plums with subtle floral notes of violets, plus hints of coffee and dark chocolate.
Taste: It displays tremendous character, with juicy red fruit reminiscent of cherries and raspberries, and subtle floral and toasted wood notes. The structure is youthful and taut, with great persistence, concentration, and tannins that promise a long life ahead.

Winemaking

The grapes were hand-harvested and underwent cluster and berry selection before undergoing a pre-fermentation cold maceration for 3 to 5 days. Alcoholic fermentation was followed by post-fermentation maceration in contact with the skins for 32 to 35 days.

Guard

The wine was aged for 24 months in 1 untoasted French oak foudre and a small fraction in third-use French barrels.
