CHATEAU LOS BOLDOS AMALIA GRAND CRU INK MIX 750 ML
CHATEAU LOS BOLDOS AMALIA GRAND CRU INK MIX 750 ML
Amalia Grand Cru is created with 65-year-old vines, harvested only in exceptional years. It is made with a selection of outstanding grapes from our finest vineyards in the Cachapoal Valley of the Andes, bordering the Andes Mountains. The vineyard has alluvial soils, derived from the Cachapoal River and covered with ancient sediments and stony ground.
This is an elegant combination with depth, complexity, and structure that we recommend.
Decant for at least 30 minutes before consumption.
Tasting notes
Deep dark ruby red, bright with violet edges.
Aromas of ripe red fruits like black cherry and strawberries, slightly spiced, with notes reminiscent of black truffles and chocolate, and a subtle minerality, giving way to notes of cedar and tobacco characteristic of its aging in French oak barrels. Ample, smooth, silky, and elegant, with good freshness and a vibrant mineral acidity typical of the rocky soils of the Cachapo Valley in the Andes. It is a vertical wine, persistent with well-balanced, ripe, rounded tannins. A long finish with well-integrated oak.
