1865 Master Blend is crafted from a fine selection of grapes from 1865's vineyards, located in the finest Chilean terroirs. It is composed of 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Syrah, 21% Petit Verdot, 19% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Malbec. This wine expresses the impressive diversity of the country's viticulture, exploring a wide variety of vineyards.
Tasting notes
Aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and red currants, along with subtle hints of spices like nutmeg, vanilla, and cocoa. The wine is full-bodied, medium-structured, and has balanced acidity. The tannins are soft, resulting in a pleasant, elegant, and lingering finish.Cask
The aging process took place in first, second, and third-use French oak barrels for 18 to 20 months. Finally, the final blend was assembled and a second aging was carried out in stainless steel tanks for 2 months before bottling.Pairing
